Children and Young People

0-4 – We are delighted to host ‘Go FAR’ playgroup at FAR Community Centre, high quality play group which is Ofsted registered. Funded places are available, large exciting play garden, with award winning bespoke equipment. Low child staff ratio and fully qualified experienced and friendly staff.

0-4 – Toddler Together, a volunteer parent run session, friendly helpful weekly drop in on Thursday mornings 9.30am-11.30am (term time only) for parents and children/babies to come together for support and a friendly chat. Age suitable activities, toys and play equipment available for children/babies to use.

0-4 – Multitastic, a group for parents who have twins or multiple children, a support session run by twin mums for twin mums! Friendly, helpful session based in our easy accessible centre. Currently run on a fortnightly basis, please check for days/times.

5-8 – Juniors group and homework group, a fun social session for children aged 5-8 children must be signed in/out by a responsible adult. This session engages children in a range of play and social activities aimed at building self-esteem and communication skills in children.

9-12 – Inters, this group looks to develop the childrens’ range of skills and knowledge and includes a number of development aspects, team building, sharing, health and learning. We offer a range of activities to promote learning with the children we work with, in the past this has covered, arts, crafts, sports, board gaming, language learning, learning musical instruments to name a few things!

13-19 – Seniors, This group has engaged with a wide range of developmental work, including sports, health, sexual health and relationships, board gaming, online gaming, residentials, music workshops, international youth exchanges, coaching, life skills, cooking skills, healthy eating, safe place to be, counselling, disability rights help, young carers help, job search and CV writing, debt advice and management.
